The strength of Hall Render's government relations and health policy activities, on both the federal and state levels, derives from our ability to formulate and articulate sound policies and to identify future trends of importance to our clients. In this regard, our government relations team has access to, and is an integral part of, the firm's nationally recognized substantive health law practice.

Since Hall Render's founding, our attorneys have represented health care providers before the United States Congress (for more information about our federal advocacy efforts, please visit our Federal Legislative & Regulatory Advocacy page), state legislative assemblies and various regulatory bodies. We are particularly involved in legislative and administrative activities concerning the licensure and regulation of health care providers and reimbursement under the Medicaid and Medicare programs. These efforts include advocating for the interests of health care providers in state and federal rule-writing proceedings, the development and implementation of methodologies for leveraging additional federal dollars for state Medicaid programs and federal legislative and administrative initiatives regarding Medicare reimbursement.  We have a long-standing history of advocating for the interests of hospitals, physicians, nursing facilities, pharmaceutical manufactures and post-acute care providers such as home health and hospice providers.
