About Gregg

Gregg Wallander, Hall Render's President & CEO, has been practicing law as a health care attorney for more than 25 years. Gregg’s counsel is often sought out by clients facing challenges regarding highly technical matters involving anti-kickback, Stark Law, board governance, physician alignment models, clinical integration, managed care initiatives and value-based care strategies. Most frequently, he works with organizations on strategic planning and transactions in order to structure initiatives that are in furtherance of applicable fraud and abuse laws. Notably, Gregg's health law practice includes the following:

Participating with a select group of outside experts, including former CMS officials, Stark Law regulation authors and federal prosecutors for a congressionally led roundtable to recommend Stark Law reform
Overseeing one of the largest health system/physician practice integrations ($250 million) in the country as well as many other vertical and horizontal health industry arrangements including insurance company components
Providing complex Anti-Kickback Statute and Stark Law analyses for health care initiatives
Delivering national and regional presentations to the health care industry

Active in his community, Gregg serves on the Parish Council of St. Joan of Arc in Indianapolis. He enjoys spending time with his family as well as traveling, cooking and cycling.
