About John
John Bowen focuses his practice in the areas of corporate transactions and antitrust. John provides advice and counsel to health systems, hospitals and physician group practices on a range of health care issues including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance and regulatory and corporate compliance. His relevant antitrust experience includes counseling on the antitrust risks associated with mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, obtaining clearance from the FTC and DOJ under the premerger reporting requirements of the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act and representing providers in government antitrust investigations.
John is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association’s 9th Leadership Development Academy Class and participates in the American Health Law Association’s Leadership Development Program. Originally from St. Louis, John now lives in Indianapolis with his two dogs – Fozzie and Scout – where he is an aspiring film buff and remains an avid St. Louis sports fan.
