Hall Render is pleased to announce attorney Amy Poe has joined the firm’s Raleigh office.
Amy provides operational, regulatory and compliance, and transactional support for a wide range of national health care providers including ambulatory surgery centers, physician groups and physician services companies, health systems, hospitals, academic medical centers, pharmacies and pharmacy benefit managers, medical device companies, hospice and home health providers, and managed care companies. Amy advises clients regarding federal and state regulatory and compliance issues such as Medicare and Medicaid requirements; fraud and abuse laws, including Medicare and Medicaid requirements; government and internal investigations; and pharmacy laws, particularly those related to compounding and specialty pharmacy requirements. In addition, she provides intensive diligence and licensure support to clients involved in complex mergers and acquisitions. Amy earned her undergraduate degree, cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Davidson College in 2002. She received her J.D. and M.P.H. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012 and 2013, respectively.
Amy is admitted to practice in North Carolina and Tennessee and is a member of the American Health Law Association, American Bar Association and North Carolina Bar Association.
