Hall Render is pleased to announce attorney Dwayne Barrs has joined the firm’s Dallas office.
Dwayne is an experienced trial attorney with a health law focus, having conducted depositions, hearings and over 25 jury trials to verdict. Prior to joining Hall Render, Dwayne served as Assistant General Counsel and Privacy Officer for a county-wide health care organization. In this role, he was responsible for litigation in various contexts, including conducting negotiations, settling disputes and managing outside counsel, and conducted internal investigations and advised medical professionals on various compliance issues.
Dwayne earned his B.A. from Furman University in 2010 and received his J.D. from William & Mary Law School in 2013.
Dwayne is admitted to practice in Florida and Indiana and is awaiting admission to the Texas Bar. He is a member of the American Health Law Association.
