Hall Render is pleased to announce Benjamin Fee has rejoined the firm in its Denver office. Ben previously worked in the firm’s Milwaukee office from 2009 through 2013.
Ben practices exclusively in the area of health law advising health systems, hospitals, pharmacies, long-term care providers and medical practices on a variety of regulatory, compliance and corporate transactional matters. He regularly counsels clients on fraud and abuse issues, including compliance with the federal Stark Law and federal and state anti-kickback statutes; government reimbursement and payment matters; corporate structure and reorganization; 340B drug discount program issues; state pharmacy laws, licensure and accreditation matters; and corporate compliance issues.
Ben received his B.S. from Iowa State University in 2004 and earned his M.H.A. and J.D. from the University of Iowa in 2009.
Ben is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and Iowa and is applying for admission in Colorado. He is a member of the American Health Law Association; Wisconsin Bar Association; Iowa Bar Association; Iowa Hospital Association, where he is a former co-chair of the Health law section; and Iowa Hospital Association’s Iowa Society of Healthcare Attorneys.
