About Jonathan
With nearly 20 years of experience, Jon Bumgarner provides legal services specifically tailored to health care labor and employment issues. Providing a deep understanding of the unique complexities and nuances involved with health care workforces, Jon offers practical solutions to the issues his clients encounter on a daily basis.
Representing health care clients all over the country, Jon regularly counsels and trains in-house lawyers and human resources professionals on employment law issues ranging from hiring to termination, including discipline and discharge, wage and hour compliance, workplace harassment investigations and disability discrimination and accommodation matters. A substantial portion of Jon’s practice involves defending government agency investigations and helping clients manage high-risk events such as reductions in force, health care transactions, physician separations and restrictive covenant drafting.
Outside of work, Jon can be found running on trails, mountain biking, playing tennis, watching baseball, cooking and traveling with his family.
