About Katie
Katie Miller focuses her practice in the areas of corporate transactions and intellectual property. Katie has extensive experience advising clients, which include hospitals, physician groups, behavioral health, physical therapy, home health organizations and device companies, on matters relating to health care transactions. Her experience includes facilitating mergers and acquisitions for a variety of entities, ranging from device distributorships to hospital-physician transactions, behavioral health and home health transactions.
Katie also has experience serving as general counsel, handling the review of complex agreements and ensuring compliance with health care fraud and abuse laws. Additionally, she supports clients with their intellectual property needs, advising on trademark-related matters, including trademark availability searches, monitoring trademarks and copyrights and assisting startup companies with trademark/IP licensing.
Katie is a member of the American Health Law Association and is actively involved in Executive Women in Healthcare, where she currently serves as President. In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and two dogs and participating in a variety of sports, including golf and tennis, as well as attending Indy Eleven games.
