Hall Render has recently announced that Bobby Hamill, Alyssa James and Joel Swider have been named Shareholders.
Bobby Hamill (Raleigh office) focuses his practice on health care transactions and assists his clients on a wide range of transactions and related matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliations and co-management arrangements, securities offerings, the development of roll-up networks, physician employment arrangements, financing arrangements and other corporate and governance matters. Bobby graduated from the Charleston School of Law in 2011.
Alyssa James (Indianapolis office) counsels clients regarding hospital/physician contracting matters, hospital and health system relationships, regulatory and compliance issues, organization governance and hospital/physician alignment and regularly advises clients on a national basis regarding fraud and abuse matters, including analyses related to federal Stark, Anti-Kickback and Civil Monetary Penalties laws. Alyssa graduated from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2013.
Joel Swider (Indianapolis office) represents nonprofit and for-profit health care providers in commercial real estate, tax and corporate matters, including: representing providers on either side of commercial leasing negotiations with an emphasis on hospital-physician leasing arrangements and timeshares; handling purchase and sale transactions, development, zoning and financing arrangements; and consulting on legal issues related to property tax exemption and drafting/reviewing exemption applications for nonprofit clients. Joel graduated from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2012.
