About Krystal
Krystal Villarruel concentrates her practice in the area of reimbursement and payment practices. Krystal counsels health care providers on a variety of reimbursement matters, including the facilitation of Medicare and Medicaid administrative appeals and reimbursement analyses associated with regulatory updates. Staying abreast of industry updates, she assists clients in remaining compliant while developing proactive programs to identify and minimize areas of risk.
Krystal is actively involved in the firm's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee Retention and Recruitment workgroup. She is also a member of American Health Law Association and serves as a mentor with the Pathway to Law Program at the McKinney School of Law. Krystal lives in Indianapolis with her husband and their two dogs and two cats.
