Hall Render is pleased to announce Shareholder John F. Williams, III was recently appointed to the Marion County Convention and Recreational Facilities Authority by Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard.
The Marion County Convention and Recreational Facilities Authority acquires, finances, constructs and leases capital improvements throughout the city. The non-advisory board is filled by three residents of Marion County appointed by the Mayor to address issues of economic development and municipal corporation.
Williams is a former Capitol Hill staffer and currently leads Hall Render’s federal legislative and regulatory advocacy practice area. Throughout his professional career, he has served in various positions on local, state and federal elections, including working as the director of transition at the Indiana State Department of Health for Governor-Elect Mitch Daniels and serving on the transition team of Mayor-Elect Greg Ballard in 2007.
