About Mark
Based in the firm’s Denver office, Mark Sabey concentrates his practice on representing health care providers, which range from physician practices and rural hospitals to large health systems, in litigation matters and assisting his clients in their daily needs and practices related to health law and employment.
Mark is an experienced litigator with particular strengths in careful strategic planning, early case resolution and appellate work and has presented evidence and arguments in courts at all levels. His prior experience includes: representing the Colorado Hospital Association in preparing amicus briefs filed with the Colorado Supreme Court; advocating for religious organizations in support of religion-based tax and regulatory exemptions and First Amendment freedoms; and serving in connection with the Colorado Supreme Court's Civil Rules Committee to revise subpoena rules to provide greater protection for hospitals and other medical record custodians.
Mark serves as a Board member of the Denver chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society and is actively involved with his church, where he serves as a stake president, leading a number of congregations. Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, biking, backpacking and a variety of racquet sports.
