SBA Releases Guidance on the Paycheck Protection Program
- The Small Business Administration released an Interim Final Rule on Requirements for Promissory Notes, Authorizations, Affiliation, and Eligibility for the Paycheck Protection Program.
CMS Releases Nursing Home Quality Rating Updates and FAQs
- CMS posted a memorandum on Nursing Home Five Star Quality Rating System updates, Nursing Home Staff Counts and Frequently Asked Questions.
COVID-19 High Impact Data Due Tomorrow to HHS
- The deadline for hospitals to submit data to help inform HHS’s targeted distribution of funds to hospitals and other facilities particularly burdened by COVID-19 is tomorrow, April 25 at 12 PM PDT (3 PM EDT). Submission data includes:
- Medicare Tax Identification Number
- Total number of intensive care unit beds (as of April 10, 2020)
- Total number of admissions with a COVID-19 diagnosis (from Jan. 1, 2020 to April 10, 2020)
- National Provider Identifier
Congressional Outlook
- With President Trump signing the interim emergency spending bill into law today, Congress will now turn its attention to drafting a fourth stimulus package. The House and Senate will both return to Washington on May 4.
