Federation of American Hospitals’ Letter on COVID-19 Congressional Wishlist
- The Federation of American Hospitals sent a letter to congressional leaders today outlining recommendations for future COVID-19 relief legislation.
CMS Updates FAQs to Assist Medicare Providers
- CMS updated Frequently Asked Questions to assist Medicare providers (update on page 33).
NIH Starts National Rapid COVID-19 Testing
- The National Institutes of Health announced a new initiative aimed at speeding innovation, development and commercialization of COVID-19 testing technologies.
From the FDA
- The FDA issued a video resource explaining Emergency Use Authorizations, one of several tools the FDA has been using during the COVID-19 crisis.
Congressional Outlook
- The Senate returns to work on Monday, May 4. The House remains in recess until a date that has yet to be determined. There are no votes scheduled on coronavirus-related legislation.
