About Liesl

Based in the firm’s Indianapolis office, Liesl Muehlhauser focuses her practice in the area of health law, advising her clients on corporate and transaction-related matters. Liesl assists a broad array of clients, which include hospitals, health systems, physician groups, dental groups and behavioral health organizations. Liesl is dedicated to partnering with her clients to evaluate problems and come to productive resolutions.

Liesl’s transactional experience encompasses a range of business corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and compliance.  She is regularly involved in drafting a range of contracts, including physician employment agreements, asset purchase agreements, corporate documents and professional service agreements. Liesl also assists clients in navigating compliance as it relates to the Anti-Kickback Statute and the Stark Law.

Prior to joining Hall Render, Liesl worked as a therapist, with experience in a variety of health care settings and systems. Working as a provider within the health care industry provides her with a unique understanding of her clients’ business and the support that is necessary to resolve their concerns effectively.

Outside of work, Liesl is an avid runner, qualifying for the Boston Marathon 11 times. She also enjoys spending time outdoors hiking.
