We understand the care and commitment needed to provide excellent behavioral services to meet the needs of patients and the community, and our hands-on experience and educational backgrounds in behavioral health enable us to provide realistic solutions to the issues confronting our clients.
We advise our clients’ administrative and provider teams regarding daily operations, business matters, patient rights, all aspects of employment and labor issues for clinical and non-clinical staff, transactions, regulatory compliance and litigation. We also help our clients draft compliance, clinical and other policies and procedures. Working closely with providers, we help train staff and leadership so that those policies and procedures are implemented successfully to achieve their objectives.
Our attorneys make it a point to stay up to date on legislation, agency regulations and cases impacting behavioral health providers, including nuances due to the Affordable Care Act and the Mental Health Parity Act. We regularly alert our clients to these changes and offer in-house training and seminars to make sure that they are current on the laws and legal developments that affect their organizations and patients.
