Summer Associate Program

Hall Render is interested in both 1L and 2L law students for its summer associate program in our various office locations each year. Hall Render’s summer associate program typically runs from late May through early August. The firm also occasionally hires law students to work throughout the school year as well. The firm is interested in law students who have outstanding academic credentials, maturity and motivation. It is the firm’s preference to hire permanent associates from our summer associate program.

Our summer associates are given the opportunity to develop working relationships with the firm’s attorneys, advisors and administrative support staff. They receive assignments from attorneys across all Hall Render practice areas and office locations that include legal research, writing, analyses and contract drafting and are considered an integral part of our team. Hall Render summer associates are assigned interesting and challenging legal work and are encouraged to participate in all aspects of our practice. Summer associates are assigned a mentor for the summer and are invited to participate in internal professional development opportunities. Each summer associate is evaluated on a continual basis throughout the summer and on a more formal basis at the end of the summer.
